I was initially attracted by a sexy ad, but this is it when my existing battery dies...which happens to be a Yuasa YTZ10S. Less than two lbs, and not much more expensive than a conventional lead-acid battery. Shorai Lithium Iron Battery quote:* No more dead batteries. Holds charge for one year without maintenance * Twice to four times the service life of lead-acid batteries * Drop-in replacement for your OEM battery * Military spec Carbon Fiber Composite Case * Faster cranking for better starts * Ultra light. One fifth the weight of lead-acid batteries on average * Super-fast recharge rate * SAFE - No explosive gasses during charge, no lead, no acid * Environmentally friendly, just discharge and dispose * Japanese engineering and components

That girl on the right has neat eyes, sooo blue. Sounds like a pretty cool battery. They claim a 10 lb savings over my stock battery for the Cyclone, hmmmm. |

I noticed that several BMW dealers sell them. Have these been around long enough to have a reputation for longevity? |
