I'm new to this online forum stuff but I read a lot of threads and need some help. I'm the original owner of a x1 white lightning that has about 15000miles on it, and wanted to know all of the parts that will swap from and xb. I am already in the process of fabing a subframe for it and really wanted to put xb wheels on it. How hard will it be to put an xb front end on and an xb swingarm on? I'll post some pictures of the subframe when I'm done its looking pretty sick. |

Sell the X1 and buy an XB. If you're going to do this anyway, you may as well turn it into a chopper (jk) imho. Steve and some people wonder why these bikes hold such little value? |

No I don't want an xb I love my x1 I basically just want to put the xb wheels on it but Im pretty sure you have to switch out the front end. If you can tell me where I can get some good looking aftermarket wheels that would be great. |

This link from badweb shows "sanchez" a few entries down with xb wheels on an M2. take a look and maybe PM him? The next link someone asks the same question. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/239144.html?1163114035 http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/384 2/331507.html?1203644301 |

Sweet S3 down in Australia done by Joesbuell several years ago. Beautifully done custom exhaust. XB front end including lights and fairing. XB swingarm with a custom mount for the XB shock. Here's a pic:
Here's a link to the extensive documentation on the project by JoesBuell. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/263887.html The archives on this are pretty cool. Read them. I think Sanchez was the first, Phelan and several others have done their XB wheels in the last year or so. |

Personally, i think the headers would look better coated. Put on some bar end mirrors and ditch the Uly hippo hands. Other than that, sweet. By the way Matt, i'd buy your X1W if you're looking to part with it. |
