If you have a forcewinder on, the aircleaner sicks out past the frame slider. LOL   Al_lighton Posted on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 - 11:06 am:        FYI, the "spacer" is an aluminum rod, approximately 1.5" diameter, 2" long, with a .410 diameter hole thru them. As John (bomber) said, it would be fairly trivial to make longer ones if necessary, you would need to by a longer bolt as well. From the surface of the frame tube, the sliders will protrude approximately 3.88". Al   Bluelightning Posted on Friday, July 30, 2004 - 09:25 am:        Yeah, I knew it wouldn't be too hard to make, I just don't have access to a lathe yet (gonna get one soon!!!) I just noticed by the looking straight down that it's close to even on the header (I have the blue ceramic coated X1W header) and my Forcewinder sticks WAY out past. Hopefully I'll never dump it anyways, but would be good to be prepared.
