Not 100% sure, but I may have one to trade...Shoot me an email or text and I'll eventually dig them out...

This setup is by far better than the Banke setup...If anyone has Banke Rearsets or Banke peg relocators, they'll know the pain of inserting the one piece circular doo-dad into the isolator bolt hole and how it sometimes doesn't fit. RRC solved that problem with a two piece design that expands when you start tightening the bolt! Phenomenal design...Now, I've got to look for matching RRC rear pegs!

Looks great, but I think it'd look better (just me personally) if you installed the flyscreen and fender that I know you have. Plus they're both Carbon Fiber so you know they'd look BA. |

I didn't say it was done yet... there's an issue with the headlight sticking out. No CF flyscreen, but have a CF S2 fender I will slap on sometime once I get the mounting hardware (need to run up to Uke's one of these days and order 'em).
I might even go back to stock oil tank so I can run CF undertail and fender. Clearance issues with aluminum tank won't allow me to put on a fender, plus the my tire rubs on it two up...blah.

I had the same issue with the headlight sticking out, used a X1 headlight as the M2 bucket is deeper.
I have the same front guard too , nice bit of gear .
Where did you get the brake line holder on the guard? |

Ahhh, so it's and X1 headlight! I tried the S1 light and it didn't work either...So, I was thinking I need the S1 style headlight mounts with removable flyscreen mounts...
The front brake line on my fender? It's actually a stock piece I had on the M2.

That foot peg set up looks great! Perfect actually. Thanks for posting a link to the part source, I'd like to get them someday, prolly have to sell the truck though...
"Why did you take it all apart!!!". Great to see it back on the road!
...So speaking of that, when (if) you tear into it again send me that cam cover and I'll clean her right up for you. Or pick up a spare and I'll do that one, then you just lap in the new bushings and are good to go. |

Yeah the X1 lights bucket is shallower, and so is the headlight ring.
Looking at the pic again I can see its a wire brake line holder , I thought it was a plastic bit that fits in the hole on the fender.
Ive got the C/F flyscreen too,fits nicely, I've wanted those RRC pedals for a long time too, bloody pricey tho.

Put the flyscreen on and going to run up to Uke's this week to order some front fender mounting bolts and crap.
Getting her ready for a bit of a voyage to the Slimey Crud Run on 01 May, if it isn't raining that is...LOL |

Well, last night went for an hour long ride just because it was nice...and cold, but sunny!
I figured just putting the rearsets together and tightening down would hold until I went and got loc tite. Sure enough, and I know better, some shit came loose.
First, the shifter came loose and I couldn't shift any longer, then a peg came loose and damn near fell over at 10 mph in the middle of the road lol...Some day I'll learn, even though I knew better in the first place, lol.
I put the fly screen back on awaiting an X1 headlight deal now... |

I have recently acquired a cut cam cover and ready to polish primary! More excited about the cut cam cover than anything!

Sounds like I'm gonna have to buy some real polishing equipment, bummer.  My Dewalt is about used up, making funny noises, like it's breaking or something. Probably worth while, my triples and various other bits could use a touch up too... and that polished manifold of yours has got me musing again...
...must resist... but it can be soooo very shiny!!!!!  |

Maybe I'll start looking for a buffing wheel and a stand (that'll make life a lot easier) on craigslist and give it a shot myself...
Found some polish that's made here in Wisconsin that is apparently some pretty good stuff.

I have used a lot of flitz, it works ok. For polishing I prefer to use the polishing compounds sold at Sears. |

The XB guys seem to really like the stuff for clean pipes back up.
If you get a really nice base though, it seems to maintain itself better, so water doesn't sit and etch on a shiny porous top layer. parts I've sanded down to 1500 or 2000 seem to hold up better than the ones I just hurry through to buffing compounds.
Be careful, it's addictive, look at Koz's bike for proof! I've got some partially polished M2 fork lowers in my garage to prove it. |

Here she is, 98% complete.
All that's left is to order matching RRC rear pegs, find a catch can I like better than the Pegasus one (It's too huge now that I don't need it for anything since the XB top end doesn't splooge much of anything).
Here she is now with Ventura rack installed (yes I know it goes the other way too, but I was on this trip solo and didn't need it sticking out so far), S2 CF front Fender, and Crossroads front pulley cover.
Fresh oil and primary oil changed @ 15,000 miles, about 500 on the new rebuild.
