The shock on my S1 just quit again. It has the support collar on it and I had gotten from a fellow Badwebber who had it rebuilt. Anyone have any feedback about this one? If I recall the original recall shock on the S1 was a WP.I'd like to go more than 15K miles without having to rebuild me shock again http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buell-rear-pull-sho ck-DuraSport-series-Reservoir-/330362796239?pt=Mot orcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ceb2838cf |

I have two of the Works shocks on our S2's. I LOVE them! Way better than the stockers. Not cheap but they are a far superior shock. The one on my S2 has about 20,000 miles on it. Still perfect. My son's S2 has about 4,000 on his shock. Brad (Message edited by bluzm2 on October 16, 2010) |

for that money you might wanna upgrade to a Penske. I have a works too on my X1, good shock but nothing special. I use an Ohlins rear shock on my S1 and I can say that the difference is extremely noticeable. but again, it's a $1200 shock... |

Ed, Thanks for the feedback but the $1400/month that my Ex is getting puts a bit of a damper on my Bike parts purchases. Should I presume that the Works is only slightly better than the Showa? |
