They're considerably beefier than stock and they have little steel ears on the bottom that have some unknown function. (does anyone know why they are there?)

Lafayette, your ISOLATOR "INFO", along with your use of the quotation mark, sucks.
Softails DO NOT, HAVE NOT, and probably never will use ANY kind of isolator. Softails are SOLID MOUNT engines. You whine about Buell engineers and parts books errors, but you're not perfect either. FLT (touring) is where the tube-frame iso's came from.
Softail is one word, not Soft-tail.
If you want to "emphasize" what you're saying, use the little slanted I button, for italics. Or Bold, or underline.
Have you ever read Flowers for Algernon? A quote from when the mentally retarded (but rapidly improving) Charlie Gordon discovers punctuation: •"One thing? I, like: about, Dear Miss Kinnian: (thats, the way? it goes; in a business, letter (if I ever go! into business?) is that, she: always gives me' a reason" when - I ask. She"s a gen'ius! I cou'd be smart like-her, Punctuation , is? fun!" - Daniel Keyes, Flowers for Algernon

Now that is why "i" take BUPROPION ...
What YEARS and MODELS does the 47564-86B(the "B" tells the last up-date, which it proably has been up-dated since the "B" up-date) fit(ie: plat forms) ...
This is not ENGLISH Class 101, as "i" am trying to share "INFORMATION" the best way "i" can ...

Speaking for myself, I appreciate all the knowledge that Buellistic shares with us and I dont give a rats what sort of english he uses, how may quotation marks or any other marks he chooses to use, I have no problem understanding any of it, all I ask is that he keeps it coming.
i find Jos51700 comments on Lafayette,s improper use of English a bit harsh,i am English and i don't always get it right, Lafayette has been a huge help to me even if sometimes his English is not spot on,so what??? i had to use the spell checker on this post and had to correct a couple of things,
You whine about Buell engineers and parts books errors, but you're not perfect either.
If you're going to bitch and moan about proper use of the written English language, please rewrite the above sentence with the comma in the appropriate place.

Get it right, dammit!
Also, thank you from yet another appreciative Bueller. While I was rebuilding Betty and learning a lot about these bikes, your posts saved me from learning via some (expensive) mistakes. On more than one occasion I'd have a certain mental image of what needed to be done, and "YOUR" knowledge!! and? experience... saved me from it!' (removing the cam cover before taking pressure off the pushrods)
Say Egotistical Prick, could you please enlighten us WHAT model/platform the aforementioned part numbers are from? These (suck?): PN 47564-86B Thanks for sharing.
Buellistic had the answer for failing front isolators for Blasts...I failed three stockers before he suggested the REAL cure....use one from a big twin...bolted in and is bomb proof.
He also taught me the PROPER way to adjust my primaries on both my Blast and my XB.
And he has been working on sportster based engines since they were created. He is "old school" so some of his stuff is not cutting edge....but if you need tuber help, he has not only managed to get over 120K miles out of his S3....but is always eager to help anybody.
I am proud to say that I know him personally and he is a great guy. And "I" have no trouble understanding his posts.
Jas51700 was right on the 47564-86B(still a "B") as they are used on the FLHT, FLT, and FXRS PLATFORMS(not used on SOFTTAIL PLATFORMS as "i" stated) ...
The PN L0504.9L(left) and PN L0505.9R(right) came out in a KIT PN 91360-99Y

Show me where it goes, then.
I appreciate what Lafayette does for the Buell community. However, information is useless if poorly communicated. Lafayette has some great information (and some not-so-great), and everybody is prone to a grammatical or typographical error now and again, but his abuse of quotation marks is phenomenal. Why? What are trying to say? What logic governs the use of them so much? They are for inch marks, and quoting people, and that's it!
If grammar is not important, submit some of these writings to Erik, and see how it comes back.
I though I wondered onto the 1125 section for a minute. There are other areas of this site for such foolishness.
Thanks Buellistic.

Lafayette is over 70 yo people. He is on a computer and he still rides. How many over 70 year olds do you know that do that? I'm sure he knows his shit.
John is a Buell/HD tech so I'm sure he knows his shit and is quite competent in assessing his ego.
There are a LOT of people on here who misspell shit.(not literally) Hard to search for the right threads when things are misspelled! There is a spell checker!!! Sometimes it's better not to say anything on here unless someone is obviously being a douche. I'm gonna have a beer, feel free to grab your own
