Want to get my 99 s3. first year of fuel injection dyno tuned but dont trust the local people that i know about. any suggestions for a tuner familiar with early buell FI in the hampton roads area, northern NC, or even as far north as Richmond would be appreciated |

Why tuned? Does it run poorly? For the most part, the EFI tubers ran pretty smooth and consistent right out of the box. Avoid the Power Commander, they're evil on Buells. See if you can find an old Race ECM (they are not programmable, by the way), plug it in, reset your TPS, and go ride. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy |

I do have a race ecm along with a full d&d exhaust and k&n filter. Have also been using ecmspy. when i first installed the exhaust with the race ecm it required quite a bit of tinkering to get it to run smoothly but i think it could be a little better. |

Here are few IMHO comments: The CARB. and FUEL INJECTION Models are are set up to run TOO LEAN ... A DYNO Test and Tune is the best way to get in the BALL PARK ... Running a FUEL/AIR GAUGE set up to test and tune in the REAL WORLD as in riding down the road is the real way to tune ... |
