I thought about it but when you use xb heads you need a different 200 dollar mount i already have brand new thuderstorm heads and pistons , i however thought of havin the thunderstorms ported . but stroker kit was my big thought |

I would send the heads out to be ported, and polished for better flow. You can put the hottest cams, and the biggest pistons in the world in your bike, but if it doesn't flow, it just won't go... Your engine is just a big pump, you need to get the air in AND out quickly. |

Won't the stroker kit reduce your max rpms? Bigger pistons, with higher compression, would be what I'd expect for racing. What class, I mean, what bikes would you be racing against? |

The stroker kit will kill reliability, because the piston sleeves will have to be shorter for clearance so they will wear out quicker, and the max rpm will have to be dropped, not to mention that some of those kits, like the 99" kit, will not fit in a stock Bueller frame without modifications. The 99" kit is taller than the 4x4 100" S&S motor, which barely fits. |
