Belt cogs are getting thin,I have a good replacement.Rear pulley cogs showing a lot of wear, have good replacement!!!front pulley and belt and rear pulley have112,000 miles on them. But as I see it I think I can use front Pulley again with newer belt and newer rear pulley. What do you Guys Think? This is on my 1996 S2T with total mileage of 132,000 miles.Hope I don,t need to buy front pulley,(trans-out-put-pulley)??? |

Trans pulley is steel, wheel pulley is aluminum - if I recall correctly. Front one should last a lot longer...unless you're seeing cracking or goofy wear patterns, leave it on there and go another 132k! |

With that many miles, I'd at least inspect th inside of the front pulley at the same time.... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/591601.html?1283518506 and then adjust belt appropriately http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/476 23/593399.html?1284462840 |
