I see a bunch or header wraps online...the prices seem to vary from $15 to around $56...other than the heat they can hold....what is the difference in them if any? |

Header wrap helps move the exhaust gas'es out like the reverse of a blower making the exhaust suck ... Getting the header coated inside and out is much better and it lasts, where you have to re-wrap ever so often, plus it makes the header rust under it ... By the way "i" wrap mine ... EXHAUST WRAP Class 101 if you want it, just PM me ... |

If you want to replace headers more often, it's good to wrap them. I think they look cool and having less heat radiation is good but your header will need to be replaced sooner. |

Mine has been wrapped for the last ten years and no signs of leak yet. |

What makes the headers on our Buells go bad that you have to replace them??? Our headers are stainless steel so rusting would not be a problem. Please explain why putting header wrap on will cause them to go bad. |

The stainless headers are fine, it's regular steel ones that can become brittle and crack if wrapped |
