Butch, Are they still having the cruise in on Wednesday nights outside Rochester? The weather was looking pretty good tomorrow. If I don't have to work late, I was considering trying to make it. |

Sorry I missed you yesterday Butch! Some other things came up and I got a later than expected start. I got there just before 7:30. I didn't realize that they ended their cruise night so early! When I started passing cars and bikes on 31F, I figured I might be too late... ...and I was! There were 6-8 cars and 2 bikes still there. I did two laps of the place looking for your S2, and left. |

Hey Ray! No, I'm not going to be able to make it to Buelltoberfest. But, thanks again for the tip on the speedo cable! I bought one and cut it to length and she's doing fine. I did notice that the new cable is .005" smaller in diameter. I don't know if it will matter at all, but, at $5 and change you can't beat it. In fact, I went back and ordered a spare for me and OZ666, just to cut and keep in the saddlebag on trips. You should post a thread up on that. I bet there are others who keep buying the ones from H-D. |

I agree with Mike. I am assuming you are talking about the speedo error... I have the original cable (or Buell replacement) on number 35. It is dead on according to the local LEO. Mike is that the speedo cable you put on at the Gathering. If so it is from American Sport Bike. Ray, please post up the thread. |

Frank, No. Ray told me that you could go to just about any auto parts store and get a "universal speedometer cable" and it would work in the S2. You just need to cut it to length and crimp the end on. Total cost: five bucks and change! Just one more part that I don't have to rely on the MoFo... sorry MoCo for! Whoops! I almost forgot... sorry Frank....{spit}!! |
