I have heard of people building an Ecowinder instead of getting a Forcewinder. I tried searching but didn't come up with anything; can anyone enlighten me? |

Obtain Filter, I used a K&N RD700 IIRC, $35.00 local auto parts store. If fitting under stock air box cut 2" off the oem snorkel, will require drilling new IAT sensor hole 2"further back. Plug the two Himeholtz(spl) holes. If using the breadbox the oem filter/flex boot locators will have to be removed for clearance,I used a die grinder. Best to replace stock plastic spacer between throttle body /snorkel with 5/8" Aluminum spacer. I drilled and tapped the spacer/snorkel on the top to help support the added weight of the filter and improve the seal. (Message edited by jramsey on August 20, 2010) |
