now I'm confused, I own what I believe is a 1999 S3T, my title says S3T. Is a fact that what I really have is a well appointed S3?
My 99 S3 does not have any of the touring equipment and the title says S3T.
The title is incorrect on several levels.
As others mentioned, no T model in 99 just Factory ordered touring accessories.
I know it is an S3, that is what I call it, that is what I tell people I have.
So long as the VIN # is correct on the title - who cares? |

My 99 has the fairing lowers,fairing pouches, under seat bag, hard bags with liners (Both deep and shallow lid sets), and the higher bars. Plus I purchased from the original owner who called it an S3T.
Therefore I'll keep on claiming the "T" even thou we all know the truth now. |

The title is incorrect on several levels.
I once had a title for a 1978 Chevy Monte Carlo, originally equipped with a V6 and since had a V8 put it that was listed as a 5 cylinder. |

What is this Unique Digit in the VIN? I'm getting a 2001 S3T. Just wondering if it's an S3 or an S3T.
Funny, the Title says ST3...Maybe I have the Uber-Rare 3 Cylinder model. |

On my 2002, the 4th digit is an 'F' for an S3T and an 'R' for a standard S3. Not sure if this would be the same for other years, but I would guess yes. |

Just for comparisons sake, I have in front of me on my desk a VIN for a '96 S2T and the fourth digit is also an F. I was thinking about buying it but the condition of the bike and the price of the bike were too far apart in my opinion. |

My 99 is titled as a T and forth VIN digit is R. Course then again I had a custom bike I built get titled "Sputhe" cause that's what the engine documentation/number said.. |
