I found a Pegasus Seat for an M2 on Ebay for $175 Shipped. After riding 350 miles on my M2L (I think the "L" stands for Lumber!) seat, it is Unacceptable. After 125 miles the Aching sets in. So, does $175 sound alike a decent price? I've heard these seats are Much More comfy than the stock M2, let alone an M2L seat. Right now that's what the bid is....not what the bidders max bid is. They are good seats, sit lower than stock seat but unlike the low seat are very good on the long haul. However the Corbin is better IMO and sometimes can be had for roughly the same price. The Corbin does sit higher though, If that's a problem, go with the select seat(Pegasus) |

The Pegasus seat is firmer than the stocker but has a better shape. It took a couple of trips on mine but I like it lots better than the stocker. Brad BTW, the blue is the best and fastest! |

It seems Everyone has a Big But... <Pee Wee Herman> Yes, after that M2L seat Flexible PlyWood is looking good! And since Blue is the Fastest Color, I'm considering painting my Fairing Blue! Or not... (Message edited by maddanthony_59 on July 27, 2010) |

I have the Select seat (yellow piping, don't blink or you'll miss it...) and it seems better than the Corbin Gunfighter for in town, or in twisties where one might be hanging off (or on for dear life!) The raised up ridge is moved back about an inch, compared to the stock seat. That pretty much seems to be it. It's still too squishy for highway or even long commute use. For that I always go back to the Gunfighter. I just can't believe how much heavier the Corbin is than either the stock or the Select. I'm talking 10 pounds more. Defeats the point of any titanium or whatever. But this is one reason I like the 'Quik-change' seat on the Cyclone, takes about one minute to change, to tailor it. I often have to take it off the seat to put on the briefcase or tail pack harness straps anyway. |

If you don't like it, Let me know I'd possibly Interested in it! I have a Corbin but the wife hates it! She says it is not only less seating area than the stocker but also it tends to push her back towards the tail-light and she feels like she is going to fall off! That being said, I love my Corbin! Madd: If you are- not busy this weekend, Toss me an E-mail would love to get together and ride or Jam a little! |

Hey Mick, I sent you an E-Mail... I think I like the seat, but you'd be welcomed to try it out for a day to see if your Mrs. likes it enough for you to hunt one down. |
