A question for those of you who have already set up previous S2 rallies:
Other than the obvious items (such as hotels, campgrounds, and suggested riding routes), what other "behind the scene's" items have you had to coordinate that us rally attendee's haven't seen?
For those that have either attended, or set up a rally, what are items that you would like to see done?
NOTE: This question IS IN NO WAY intended as a derogatory statement towards people who have organized previous rallies!
I am just curious as to thoughts other's have on things that they would like to see done... |

Mike, here are the two things that you may or may not know about. The timing cover design which will be your choice. You can go with the same one with the different info or design something yourself. Shane makes these so he will craft the final design then send it out for approval to someone (that may be me but you will have the final say).
And the swag, Jay and Tony can talk to this as well but for the first one Rex went to Buell and I tapped the only Buell friendly dealership in Colorado. They actually wanted to bring a demo truck out but that fell through.
As far as the TShirts I think the idea you had really rocked.
We had trophies at 1 and 2 but not at 3. I do not think anyone missed them.
Bottom line is you do what you want to do. All the other stuff is just nice to have stuff. It is really NOT about the bikes so much.
That is just my opinion. I was lucky in that I had a professional help me (Rex).

I was gonna make homemade trophies from Used S2 parts, but didn't get enough donations nor did I have enough of my own.
But I figured no one really wanted extra stuff to pack.
I got a few things from Buell, and leftovers from the Texas S2 Step.
Again not a lot of donors for freebies either. I contact Kim at Buell and she hooked me up. |

Thanks Court,Think your Pulling-my-Leg and it,s 2013.Even You showing-up would be an honer!!!Spidey can use all help I can get from experience!!!I do have some nice trophies 5 in all that can be modified all motorcycle.
