Here's a chart to start you off: http://www.harley-performance.com/harley-spark-plu g.html Maybe I should point out I still run the 10R12A or whatevers from HD. |

Nothing personal but that chart looks a bit old. It says to use the wrong plugs in some models. (Wrong heat range) |

The basic HD 10R12A's are good and cheap. How much money can you save buying two plugs? |

Champion RA6HC NGK DCPR9E (Also DPR9EA but it just has the threads on the top) And of course HD 10R12A I wanted to try Bosch Platinum but have not found a cross reference. I am trying the NGK's now. |

I bought the plugs and wires from american sportbike, and noticed immediate improvement. Everyone here seems to trust Al, who owns it, and so far I haven't had fault with any of their product on my buell. |

I got my 10R12's from the local Harley/Buell dealer for about two and a half bucks apiece....just how much do you want to save? |

Maybe one could find some used? Reconditioned? I used to buy "re-cap" tires, I don't know if they're even available anymore. |

Options are just what the word says. You can always use the stock or standard parts or pieces. Sometimes (the options)they work better and sometimes it is a bust. Then there are those that try different things and it works better. I like options so if the factory part is not available I can still get it running. |
