If I use the spacer (pictured below) the included bolts are not long enough, if I do not use the spacer, they will work. What effect does this spacer have? It's been working pretty well for a few years now. I bolted it up without the spacer. I take the fact the supplied bolts will not work with the spacer as a sign you are supposed to run without it. Considering what you pay for this little piece of metal, you would think they could include that information. Frank.
