Anyone done this? Have a source for parts? I'm working on my Sportster, installing Buell controls and clip-ons. But the Master Cylinder I have doesn't want to pump up, I suspect the seals on the piston have dried up. My S3T (2001) manual shows the dis-assembly with a piston and spring, but my parts manual only lists the complete MC. I don't know what year the MC I have is, but it looks just like the Nissin on my S3. Thanks, Barry |

I did it a couple of years ago now on my m2, it was really easy. snap rig, take everything out, clean it out really well and put new guts in |

Does the parts book only LIST a complete MC? Or does it only SHOW a complete MC in the picture? I've found over the years that a lot of times, "not pictured" will bite me in the ass. It's usually at the bottom of the list, or in this case I've seen a lot of "service kit, master cylinder" listed right under the whole item. |

Barry, Al @ American Sport Bike should have these kits. I just did mine last year. Dont waste your time bench bleeding your mc. For some strange reason, everything had to be connected in order for me to get any kind a pressure in able to bleed out the air. Worked great.

Nothing listed in the parts book for rebuilding the MC. No service or rebuild kit. Just checked again. The parts book does not show the MC disassembled. |

Thanks Steve, didn't think about calling Al. I'll do that on Monday. |
