Are those pieces "powder coated", or painted? Did you polish the Triple Clamps befoe you did it, or leave them with that slightly rough texture? |

Everything pictured is powder coated. Its super high gloss black. It has that wet look to it. Everything came out better than I expected! All parts were bead blasted before sprayed. Most parts were layered multiple times with coating. My M2 is 10 years old with over 40K on the clock. She needed to be freshened up a little. Most of the parts were in good shape when removed. The lower legs were kind of beat up, thats about it. I rebuilt the forks, replaced the neck bearings/cups and mounted new Pirelli's front and rear.

I have the black headers, a second set of wheels and a box full of other parts sitting in my garage. |

Powdercoating the swingarm would really finish things off nicely. Beautiful job. |

Very nice. Personally, I'd toss the S&S air cleaner in the trash and get an old Buell race filter setup with the CF cover...but that's just me. I like the black, very much. Might have to do that to the wife's M2 someday (has the silver wheels right now - it's either gonna go black to match the frame, or get more work and get an orange frame and wheels). |

Does that S&S hit your knee? |

Personally I really like the tear drop air box, but I am a chromophobic, so mine's black....And it very seldom touches my knee. |
