Does anyone out there in Buell Land know which Tank Bag for the Tubers, (Around the year 2000) or so, is the Biggest One in Size? I had the biggest one when I bought my bike New,, And then some Jerk off stole it right off my bike! A couple Months back I purchased a Used one off of a Badwebber Here but it ended up being smaller than the one I had! I would like to Find the Big one like I used to have but Can't Remember what it was called! |

I have the Amigo but I think there is one that is a size bigger. I'm wanting to say, from foggy memory, that this one is a seven liter. |

If you are not wed to Buell brand tank bags, here's an excellent deal on a nice, big strap-mount bag. I can place mine on an s1w or s2 tank and take a pic if you want (just sitting on it, not strapped down) so you can get a feel for it. But for $17 plus shipping, how can you go wrong? http://www.newenough.com/parts/closeouts/luggage/r apid_transit/abrams_strap_mount_tank_bag.html |

Sitting on the S2, even a short guy like me has no problem seeing the instruments over the bag. I have also heard that tall bags like this one help cut down on wind, acting like a mini-windscreen. |

I optimistically bought it for the xb, but it fits way better on top of a tuber tank. You still have to unclip it to fill up the tank, but no biggie. Nice bag. |

I used to have all those old P&A catalogs...until my garage flooded... IIRC the Amigo was for the Blast. There was one for the tubers that had a large expandable center section, three satellite pockets, and a map cover. I have two (that I use frequently, sorry) but I can't remember the damned name... |

That was the one! It had a zipper to expand and 3 pockets and a map cover! Although the one I bought a while back had those features also but it was still a bit smaller than the one I had! It might have been the same bag but maybe a year or two older, I did notice that the used one I bought had Black and Grey Material where as the one I bought new was just Black! |

My Wife told me that she put alot of old catalogs, Brochures and magazines from Buell That I collected from the first couple years when the Cyclone was New (2000), In a box and she believes it is somewhere in the Garage/Attic Space! Guess if no one comes up with anything I may have to spend a Weekend digging! I Was just hoping that with all of the Buell Fanatics that Reside here, someone could have found me one or at least the name! |

The older tank bags look like Eclipse Bags Their latest bags. http://www.eclipseluggage.com/luggage/200.html http://www.eclipseluggage.com/luggage/201.html |

There is one on that site that looks pretty Good! Looks big (but not too big) with the side pockets! Seems like a Decent price too! I think I'll go home tonight and take some measurment of the bag that I recently bought, That way I'll know for sure I'll be getting a bag more suited to my needs! Thanks for Link! |

The 2nd one above is very simular to the old school one I have. I used it for years on my M2 and S2. I'm currently using the M2 Buell version on my S2. I switch it between bikes with no problems. (The old Eclipse map window was getting REALLY yellowed and it's not removable.). |

Try polishing the yellowed map window with "scratch off" clearcoat scratch remover. It's real cheap, found in many automotive sections and it takes the yellow off of headlight plastic without hazing it. It may work to restore your map window. |
