But I'm satisfied with the result. Once I have the dash built and painted, it'll make more sense.

why would you cover up the tach over the most important part of the rev range?

Because I hardly use it anyway. Sorry Brad. Try to look beyond what you see and get the "big picture" : D.

I get the big picture man, but I would have went with some window tint on the inside so you can still see it. It doesn't look right all solid like that with the sharp joints.

I say have another go with tint.

Good point : D, but the paint is on the face, not the glass. Also, the sharp joints play in with the paint of my bike. The sharper flames is kinda my style and different-ness.

I you really like the flame motif at least turn it around so it looks like it is rising from the bottom and besides, you can see the important part of the rev range. All in all I prefer nothing on the face of the instruments since I use them all the time. To each his own.

i hardly ever look at the rev counter, you usually can tell when its time to change gear...just after it hits the limiter.
i spend more time lookin at the speedo seeing how fast i'm gonna lose my license...

Kalali, they're pointing "down" because once the dash is angled, the flames match with the flames on my bike.
