Exactly what is this device and is it worth $20? I did a search and found nothing on this. Is it compatible with the race only ECM or does it allow a stock ECM to simulate a race only ECM? I know, lots of questions, but any guidance would be appreciated. |

Just send me your $20. My guess is, it would be money better spent (at least I'd buy *good* beer with it LOL). Guidance is easier if we know what you're trying to accomplish...are you having a problem? Did you make a change in breathing (intake/exhaust) and now you have a running issue? Do you "just want more performance"? Chances are, for $20, it's some sort of (junk) resistance box or voltage box that will confuse/fool the ECM into thinking it's running lean, by intercepting a signal from a sensor, and making it run richer. All the time. Whether you need it or not. Save your $20, put it towards a real-deal race ECM. But again...it would help if we knew what your goal was. |

Rat, I don't have any specific goal other than to try to find out what this thing is. I have race only ECM. St. Paul H-D has them as part of their Buell liquidation at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=390180494413&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK %3AMEWAX%3AIT I was hoping someone here could explain the advantage of this device. It is just that simple. |

Well the one you posted fits HD Twin Cams. Fits between stock ecu and bike, intercepts and changes signals. Similar to Power Commander, but simpler. Not suitable for Buells as it would adjust in the Learned Fuel area and skew entire map.Too hard to say where the hi/med/lo areas are in relation to Buell ecm maps. |
