Wilson, Did you reach out to this guy about correcting the crappy workmanship or a replacement? As motorcycling goes, Buellers are a pretty small community and bad news travels fast. I would like to think that he would do the right thing if for no other reason that his own self preservation |

Maybe give Andy a call over at Precision Engineering. He may just do a group purchase run of a part. Also he is a sponsor here and his work is quality. |

It looks as though it would be just as easy to make the center out of solid round stock rather then I presume tube, with machined ends welded on. It does look pretty beefy though. |

I have the west tek brace and it is off my bike right now. I could be persuaded to make some 3d drawings... |

Spidey, please do, it doesn't look that hard to make. Is it all aluminum? And why the welds on the bar, couldn't that just be one piece? |

The bar is hollow and the ends are machined, they look to fit into the hollow bar then welded. I will see what happens with West tek before I draw it up... |

Bump for news.(?) I think the tube shape goes so much better with the rest of the frame, so that would be my vote. The west tek design is very well thought out; a nice piece of work. Some of their other stuff, like back rests for S2's... cool stuff. Really too bad they do not run this stuff any more. |

There's someone in the U.K. doing a Banke style copy and selling them on Ebay. I like the Banke style...especially when skeletonized.
...leaves room for all the stuff. |

Mad_Carol is part of the company making them in the UK. She has them posted in the classifieds here. They look top notch. I've never seen the West Tek style before, any idea on price? |

Hi I'm not part of the company, we liked them and so had a few made by an engineering company. Copied from the Banke one we bought. Thought loads of people would be interested so we did a small run to see if we could make a little bit of money to buy our son his first motorbike. |
