Both the left and right forks are bent on my 99 cyclone. Does anyone know if the tubes from a 97-98 will work? They are a different part number than for my 99. Please help.... |

If the part numbers on the triple tree parts are the same they will work ... The OD on the frok tubes should be the same, only the internals were up graded ... A machine shop can straighten the tubes if you take the forks apart ... |

Also, new tubes are pretty cheap. $35 or so the last time I bought one. Make sure you replace the internal bushings while you are in there. They are cheap too, less the $10 per side. If you bent the legs, you probably flat spotted the bushings too. |

I don't know if you would be interested, but I have a perfect set of forks from my '99 M2. I did an X1 swap on it. No leaks, includes triples. May be cheaper than getting new tubes and the cost of the work on them. PM me if your interested. |
