Took the header and exhaust off to polish it a bit and drain the primary fluid... put it all back together last night, I thought everything went pretty smooth. However, I've got a pretty sizable leak at both exhaust ports. Didn't use the screamin eagle gaskets, I used the stock Buell gaskets (there seems to be quite a debate as to which ones are better) Any suggestions? Thanks |

Dstaff: IMHO the 65324-83B H-D gaskets are crap !!! The best are GASKET,exhaust port PN 17048-98 ... "i" some times re-use the as they are that good ... Since you are in FLORIDA, check out Storm Fronts and then Tampa Area buell Owners Organization(TABOO) ... Enjoy the PICTURES ... (Message edited by buellistic on April 20, 2010) |

No I mean Dstaff, sounds like it from his description but can't make it out for sure. Could be the cause for the leaks? |
