what a goofyass cobbled together mess. i especially love the harley 125 cc 2 stroke tank. nice fork gaiters as well. death machine, indeed. a perfectly good buell was wasted to "build" it |

Is this just because he was able to get his hands on an S2 (or S2 motor) for less money than a sportster? He could have rebuilt a sportster motor to equiv. specs. But I guess these guys have more respect for sportsters than for Buells... rrr. Could you possibly build a worse cornering machine than this thing? |

Well it does say Death Machine right on it lol The Detroit Bros choppers started using that 125 tank On some of there bikes it looks pretty cool, but as stated above this bike is pretty cobbled together They have bikes with mid foot controles that look better... |

A '95 S2 has a bone stock, 52RWHP sportster motor. What a waste of a classic bike. |

A '95 S2 has a bone stock, 52RWHP sportster motor. What a waste of a classic bike. I'm tempted to post that it's in no way a 103 horse motor. That type of ignorance probably cost more than a couple of S2s their lives... |

I probably got a little more colorful than I shouldve with him. "Dear 59limey, Just thought I'd let you know that the '95 Buell S2 (which is what I ride, btw, #814/1399) had a bone stock Sportster motor that runs about 55 RWHP. It wasn't until '98 that the 103HP Thunderstorm motor debuted, though at the wheel it only made about 84HP. - phelan_z06" his response "Dear phelan_z06, just thought I'd let you know that this bike has thunderstorm heads in it and cams.thanks - 59limey" "Dear 59limey, What about the pistons? Or the crank? Did you split the cases to change the crank out too? The thunderstorm motor had a different crank that was almost 2 lbs lighter, which is another way it made that kind of power. And the Tstorm heads (which none had polished fins, btw) wouldn't fit with the stock flat top pistons because the heads have a custom squish band. And even the factory 2-1 exhaust makes almost 10 HP more than, short, uneven drag pipes (torque cones or none). Custom bike it is. 103 HP it is nowhere near. If the bike sells and buyer notices this afterward, they have grounds return the bike and demand a refund. - phelan_z06" his response "Dear phelan_z06, what are you a lawyer? or just someone who knows too much about other peoples stuff? obviously you are not going to buy it so quit bugging me. - 59limey" |
