I just got done putting my rear hugger on....WTF what a nightmare! Its like some kind of sick joke...The bolts are damn near impossible. Am I missing something? Is there some special tool that gets in those crevices with a torque key? If so where can I get this.I used an offset wrench and a piece if tape around a Torx bit.

I removed my rear shock, put on jackstands and lifted the swingarm. Just took a few minutes. Frank.

Good suggestion Frank,

Jack stands under the passenger pegs allow the swing arm to drop down out of the way and make the fender hardware easier to reach.

Know what you mean, I thought about taking mine off once, tried, then gave up.

I generally raise the rear end of my M2 with a mild steel rod through the rear axle, and then put jack stands under the rod ends. If I lay across the seat, it compresses enough to get the left one. As I recall the right and the front were not too hard. Might have taken multiple adaptors on a socket drive, but worked.

The hardest one was getting the bolt through the line bracket and into the swingarm on the left side.Came out a whole hell of alot easier than it went in. Thanks for the advice guys. Im glad it's not just me.
