I do not know how many of you noticed the antenna on Court's Lap of America S2 but it always intrigued me. I do not know what freq range it was for (maybe 27 Mhz or CB) or not but I decided to mount one on my S2T so I can use the Amateur or Ham Radio. VHF and UHF only. The radio itself is a Yeasu FT 10 with Bluetooth. (I had a similar setup on the Uly but did not use ram mounts. I used ram mounts and cannot believe how great those things are.
All I did was mount it to the luggage rack under the tail section and got a Marine flat mount and drilled some holes. Since Lynn and I are both licensed amateur radio operators this will allow us to have a range of 100s of miles using a repeater and line of sight simplex. Now I got to figure out how to do this on her XB. While I am doing stuff to the bike. Red Bad
Green Good
