http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ewItem&item=360234734670&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT What kind of m2 seat did i win exactly. Never seen one like it, just wondering, wanted something more streamlined than my corbin was, and the price seemed right. Anyone know? Looks like it says force on it, did force make seats for a while? (Message edited by Guell on February 17, 2010) |

That is a S1 twin tail seat made by force for a short amount of time in 98 If it was an M2 the hole where the seat screw hold down is would be further back... |

Double check it JIC, but from the looks it looks to be a Twin Tail seat. If it is a M2 seat it is for the narrow Duce, IE 97-98 But I am 99.9% sure Force only made seats for the S1 Twin Tail, either way you have a rare piece... |

Yea, i thought it was a narrow seat, but now that you mention the hole for the screw, it does look like a twin tail seat. Dan, pm returned |

I watched that seat sell on ebay. Before it sold I compared the picture of the underside to the undersides of my S1 twintail and early M2 seats. The pan was the same as my early M2 seat, and quite different from the twintail. I say it's for an early M2. Very cool seat.... |

Here is a photo of both seats together so you can compare them to the underside of the force seat:
The '97-98 M2 seat is on top, the S1 twintail seat is on the bottom. I'd like to have it too, but it would just sit around waiting for a bike to put it on.... |

Cool! Looks like you did get an M2 seat! The hole looked too close to center for an M2 seat but the pic above confirms it, you got an early M2 seat... |

Seat came in today, looks good on the bike. It raises the seat height by an inch or more. Seems more comfortable than the corbin I have. I'll get pics on sunday, won't have my bike with me for the next few days |
