Like the title says, I am interested in experience and opinions regarding the strengths and weaknesses of each. I am considering both for my M-2 (I already have a Buell Race Header). Neither option is cheap so I want to make the best choice. |

The D&D never needs to be repacked and is built like a tank. |

I love my Buell race cans on the S1W and the S2. Used to have a V&H carbon on the S1W, but put the full race kit on it and WOW, what a difference. Noticable power increase, no flat spot mid-rpm, and a MUCH better sound IMO. I pack mine with steel wool. Rarely. Stuff lasts near-forever. |

My friend said another d&d wasnt quiet as loud as my kooks, but said it was close. If it is, then its really loud. Not at idle, but 80+ and it roars Personally id go with the d&d myself. |

If you're gonna put miles on the bike....get the Buell can. I can ride my tubers all day long, no ringing in my ears. My Uly with a Drummer? Tinnitis for days. |

I do wear earplugs. Granted, they make music...but they're noise cancelling buds rated for something like -30dB. |

Hands down - Buell Race Can. I've gone through 2 Vance and Hines and a Supertrapp. Got tired of replacing these items so I went with the Buell Race Can. Reliable and simple. I'm sure a good muffler shop can fabricate one for you if you don't like the prices. |
