That's a really good price. More than I paid for one in 2000 at a dealer, but hey, it's 10 years later. |

"I've got Braking wave rotors for the front and rear. =)" I expect to see those rotors on a beautiful, fully functional M2 at homecoming. If you spent as much time turning wrenches as you do searching eBay.. oh the possibilities |

Phil, I won't be at Homecoming. I just found out on Monday that another guy at work put in for that Friday, so I'm screwed. |

That really sucks Brin, anyway around it? I wonder if we could get a group of dudes to come over and help put your bike together while everyone is gathered together for homecoming. Even a half competent garage mechanic like myself could bolt brakes on and stuff. With a bike to ride you might save a little money on stuff? Save Ferris, er, Wilson! |

HAHA! Good idea Mike! But, the entire top end still needs to be put on, the tranny and clutch need to be pulled and swapped out with the new ones I have...I'm kind of waiting on word about the new front isolators too, then I'll buy a few of those! I should be able to scrape all the tools together by then and have purchased the rest of the parts needed to complete it too! Hell, we could have a little shindig on Sunday if people wanted to stop by. It sucks a big one not having any Buell friend mechanics around. There is only about 4 of us around here, and only one other has a tuber, and it's currently sitting in my garage, lol. |

Just my $0.02 - the engine is a lot easier to mount in the frame without all the weight of a tranny, primary, and top end. Not to mention that being mounted in the frame is a good substitute for buying an engine stand. I was able to "hang" my engine back in the frame by myself using just a floor jack and some tow straps. Get on it! All of that shouldn't take more than a couple saturday afternoons. |

I've already bought a stand from Harbor Freight for the installation process since at my current place the garage is drywalled and I rent it. Gotta love apartment living, but the at my parents it was rafters galore that the bike hung from... Shouldn't take more than a couple Saturday afternoons is the key word. But I don't have a couple afternoons to give usually. LOL Anyways, how awesome would that be though, having tons of guys working all hanging in the garage, drinkin' beer and workin' on a bike. I'd have a blast anyways because it sure as shit is boring doing it myself, especially when I don't know if I'm even doing half of the shit right hahah. |

Yeah, that would be cool, couple good mech's to play chief and a handful and a half of us just doing what we're told, as long as we weren't fighting we could get it all done pretty quick. Would be an interesting project to orchestrate. Quality time working on the bike is nice, but can be boring, much better to do that with friends. |

Maybe I'll start a thread about it...I know of several people passing through, and anyone on the East coast will be passing about 2 blocks from my house. In fact, I'll spell out Buell on the I80/I90 Bridge that's 2 blocks away using styrofoam cups lol |
