had a problem with the S2, needed to take the gas tank cover and tail off. ok, so the bike has been painted from it's original color - but does that explain this?
is this what Brankin did on his coffee breaks? |

Hotrats, you should have seen the stickers he put in a set of MY saddle bags. I may have to post a pic of that one. |

I can honestly say, in my best Schultz impersonation, "I know nothing!" Besides, I don't drink coffee, normally it's Mountain Dew for me. Unless I'm so tired nothing wakes me up or I'm so cold that I need to warm up form the inside out. BTW, the lightning bolt on the factory wall was done during the great shock recall that kept Buell from producing bikes for multiple months at the beginning of the 2001 MY. I know NOTHING! But I think it's pretty darned COOL! 1313 |

Here is some of Brankin's modifications to the inside of saddle bag lids.
I hope you did not have to hurt anyone. I decided to keep the stickers in the bags since they have a "history". Here is how the small lids look now. That black cherry color that was under the black was very nice.

-thanks for the pics Frank. although he denied it, i *think* he may know more about the skull than he let on. -Brankin, upon closer examination, the oil tank cap on my 96S2 is from Carolina Coastal HD, i know don't mean nuthin', but i did purchase bike in IN. Frank, since you posted a pic of your S2 bag lids (which look darn good btw) do you have a pic of the bag mounting bracket installed, or could you direct me to one? i'm trying to fit the bracket on for the homecoming trip, and think i'm lacking something. i'll make a separate post on this also. thanks andyh (Message edited by hotrats on December 05, 2009) |

Brankin. . . . I **THINK** that dude just called you "shallow" . . he had no idea who he's messing with, eh? He sees the hearse pull up in front of his house . . . he'll be eating his words. |

Looks like preproduction to me. No indents for the reflectors. |

Correct, no indents for the reflectors.
Goes well with the inners with no cutout for the turn signals (hence, turn signals in tail)
Fender to match
Controls on the bike.
