How important is it to have the manual for your actual model? I cant find one for my 2001 Cyclone but often see them for a 97-98 model Cyclone for example, are the changes that great that it would be a waste of money, any advice appreciated |

Get the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL and PARTS BOOK for your YEAR and MODEL ... "HARLEY-DAVIDSON Motor Company, making MECHANICS and PARTS MEN out of BUELL Riders since THURSDAY 15 OCTOBER 2009 !!!" Any truth to the RUMOR that in one year the XB/BLAST/1125 platforms will be back in the HARLEY-DAVIDSON Dealerships under the HARLEY-DAVIDSON "NAME" with all NEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON "BIKER" NAMES ... |

The service manual and parts manual I have for my '64 Sportster have proved invaluable. I'd get one correct for your year, and the newest version possible so it included all updated part numbers. |

The factory manual for my XB9R has saved me mucho $$$ by doing my own work. Makes you really know your bike. Plus, it is great reading in the office. Try that with a bootleg CD on eBay...... |
