looking at buying an S1 in a few days as an upgrade from my blast... gf isnt going to like it very much if there isnt foot pegs for her... any parts i can buy to put foot pegs on it? i looked at it yesterday and dont recall seeing any and after a quick google search it appears they dont come with them... ? |

There are supposed to be peg mounts on the frame unless someone has cut them off. There isn't much passenger room on an S1, even if it is a twin tail. Dean |

In this picture (not my bike) you can see the triangular frame extension where the rear peg mounts.
I took my passenger pegs off because nobody is going to ride with me anyway(the seat is barely big enough for me). I put the rubber covers over the tabs like the '98 S1W had from the factory. I've seen a few bikes that have had the peg mounts cut off up near the main frame. If that is the case, it would be pretty tough to mount pegs. |

I wouldnt reccommend double riding unless your girl weighs about 80 pounds but the s1 does have pegs |

I have a Corbin twin Gunfighter seat, which is a vast improvement over the stock twin tail seat. She has to sit close, and when you hit the brakes, she scoots you up onto the tank. It can be done, but it takes a team effort. By the way, you will only do a wheelie once with her on the back. Don't ask how I know. |
