It was with mixed feelings that I traded by Y2K S3 in on a new '08 1125r a week ago. The S3 was my very first bike, purchased used in '07. I loved the styling and the sound and the ease of doing minor mods and service. Most of all I loved how I felt when I rode her. But now as one era closes, another opens before me. I have been mostly lurking on the Old School Buell pages since '07 and have learned a lot from many of you. Thanks for that. Plans are for me to be at The Dragon and then Buelltoberfest if the weather agrees so I hope to be able to meet a couple of you there. Cheers, X. | ||

Thanks guys. It took me a week to be comfortable with loosing the S3 - I was that attached to it - before I could come out of the closet and admit I had a new ride. I won't stray far from this forum. It's a great bunch here. Going to do the Dragon (and area)all next week - bye-bye chicken strips! LOL Anyone got a "must do ride/route" for me near there? PreyBird1 - They gave me $3k for the Y2K S3 on trade. |
