hi guys, I need to know the turn ratio of the speedo signal of an S1, it's a 98 WL but I guess there's no difference... I need to know it in order to calibrate my new digital speedo, that is waaaaay too fast as it is now. thanks... |

If no one can help with actual numbers...you could just crank it down to where you think it might be close then hit the road. Go out to a highway w/mile markers going 60 then start a stopwatch when you pass one marker and stop it when you pass another. If you hold your speed to 60MPH for the mile it should take 1 min. Give the speedo a tweak & repeat till it's close enough. |

Or could use a GPS to calibrate it. |

Where did you find a digital speedo that fits the space of the gauges? I'd be interested in putting one in my S3T (same year as your S1W) |

Dennis, my bike is custom made and I have no more front fairing, so I just put a mini speedo... |
