was lookin the engine over and saw a hose coming out of the middle of the crank case. it bent under the battery bracket and then up towards the tip of the oil reserve, it had no plug on it and was just zip tied up there. i was kinked down at the bottom, i was just wondering if this is a vent for the crankcase or what purpose does this serve? | ||

You are correct. It is a vent. If you get on the bike hard a little might come out. If you loose your drive shaft seal a lot will come out. | ||
