the two bolts that hold the chin fairing on an x1 on the shifter side just dont hold the fairing tight anymore. it seems like the holes in the fairing are bigger than the spacers and the bolts are bottoming out on the spacer. do i just need another washer to not bottom out the bolt to the spacer.... or is it even possible to bottom those bolts out? also i believe i should be siliconing those bolts back in there correct? because as i left the one slightly loose yesterday i opened my garage the next day to find half my primary fluid on the floor all from that one bolt hole. |

They hold your primary on too. Should be tight yes. |

yes i know they hold the primary cover on as well, but with the bolts tight the chin fairing is not tight. i guess i need another washer between the head of the bolt and the outside of the fairing to keep it tight. |

O-rings fit between the spacers left and right side both. Buy a parts catalog. |

i have one. i never thought to look in it because the previous owner said he never touched it. i will from now on |
