I saw this and thought there might be some interest, If I did not have a NIB Factory custom I would be interested.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Custom-Seat-to- Fit-Buell-X1-Models_W0QQitemZ190321181272QQcmdZVie wItemQQptZMotorcycles_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2 c5006c258&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245 |

Thanks Ross! Jim, what good is it doing in the box? Put in on the bike and go wear it out! I'm doing some cool stuff on a Uly seat right now. I have been waiting on some thread that will match the grab handles and rear sub frame. I think the thread should get here today. |

Yeah, it wasn't too hard to put 2&2 together... Loren, Kansas, custom saddle... Lol. I don't know too many people in Kansas named Loren that make custom saddles that even know what a Buell is haha. Baldwin eh? I like it. Will my seat have that logo when it's done (assuming I get off my lazy butt and send it to ya)? |

Hey, that's a great idea, but I'm not sure I can shrink it that small and still have it look good. Hmm...I'll have to check in to it. Right now my work is getting tagged like this.

I saw that the other day and thought it was the gnats azz, very good looking seat but I didn't post it cause I didn't want to step on any toes in case someone here was bidding on it. |

Skntpig & Kyrocket...Thanks I do not have an S1 seat. They seem to be as rare as rocking horse poop. |

Loren, I have a factory custom that I should send to you to make patterns from, its about shot, the "FC" seat in the box is one of the last 3 available AFAIK there are none available now, I looked at the location and wondered if that was your handy work. That seat is beautiful, how much more in your opinion does a jell insert improve comfort, and can you duplicate a tank bra? Mine is about to fall apart |

"That seat is beautiful..."Thanks Jim! I was real pleased with how the design turned out. I had already done something like it on a Blast saddle, and it worked out really great with the X1 saddle shape. I have gel inserts in the saddles on my bikes. I personally think they make a big difference for shock and vibration reductions and some molding fit. I had my Factory custom seat off my Firebolt last week and had the seat in my shop. I decided to ride the bike to work, and instead of going back to the shop and getting the custom seat, which I had put gel inserts in a few years ago, I grabbed a stock seat I had in the garage and put it on the bike. Damn that thing is uncomfortable! Guess you could say I have a very spoiled butt. Needless to say the next time I road the bike I put the gel inserted seat back on. Oh and sure on the tank bra. |

So, how about a Cyclone one eventually?? And how much would that cost? |

hey just curious, how thick is the gel insert you put in the seat? |

I use a Pro Pad gel insert and they are 1/2" thick. I put 3/4" to 1" of Sunmate memory foam on top of gel inserts. Makes for a great combination. |

Better not let this get too far Loren... Without sponsorship the hammer will come down soon, just like the sticker thread, and the kickstand plate thread...Just saying, if BadWeb doesn't get their monies, well you know..Probably best to keep it to PM's. Unless this will be the thread that they let slide, which I wouldn't mind. |

Loren thusfar has nothing to rightfully worry about IMHO. No links or suggestions have been added. |

Looks to me like Loren has only answered questions AFTER being asked by others about services that he offers on sites other than this one. To me that's not violating the sponsorship rules, but it may be dancing in the near vicinity of those lines |

Correct, I am not a sponsor here. It is not in the budget right now. I also did not start the thread. Yes, I did respond to tell people thanks, that I appreciate everyone liking the saddle and answer a few general questions. The custodians are free to delete the thread or any of my post. It will not change that a few said they like my work and I was able to tell them thank you. Beside go google "custom buell x1 seat" #1 and #4 in the list. I'm getting it covered. I was just sayin'. Wasn't being negative, but I figured I'd throw it out there since the uproars of past, which I'm sure you're aware of. Back to our regularly scheduled program. =) |

I read it and didn't see anything negative at all. You know and respect the rules and guys like Wilson and I, who are not moderators, sometimes guess as to what they will do or what their tolerance level is. My bet is that you're quite well aware of the difference in "telling" someone that you are doing something and advertising. I hope demand skyrockets and a new business buds out of it. Court |
