In the manual it tells you to raise the rear tire using a stand so trans fluid doesn't spill out. I don't have a stand so won't be doing that step. I also notice it never tells you when to lower it again. So if you follow it as the book tells you would be putting trans fluid in until fluid level is even with diaphragm spring. Am i missing something here? Manual says system holds 1 quart. Should I just add 1 quart when changing it or place bike on level ground and add until level is even with diaphragm? Joltron: The FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL is correct on the level to the Clutch Diaphragm Spring( not 1 QT) ... "i" use real old car body stands(one under each foot peg) to hold bike perfectly up-right ... |

Sweet, thanks for the tip. My rocker gaskets just got here so i hope to have it running, tuned and a few improvements done by the end of this weekend. |
