Has anyone out there ridden on both? I've got the older style seat but would it be worthwhile for me to look for a newer style seat? From just eyeballing it, I don't see any differences in the rear plastics so I assume that a newer style seat would fit fine on older plastics. Old: New:

I would also say the new style is more comfortable, the old style seat will get your feet a little closer to the ground while stopped though since it is narrower. Dean |

I have both seats for my S3, the new style has more padding for your boys. I prefer the old style as I feel more part of the bike and not on top of it. Be warned the new one will scuff your paint where it meets the tank and tail section |

No question about it, the "new" seat is tons more comfy. I have lots of miles on both. |

The reason I considered a Buell over a VFR800 was the NEW seat... IMO, new seat LOOKS better and I can sit on it for 8+ hours... |
