Hey there fellow Buell lovers, I'm new to the forum but have owned my 98' Buell white lightning since 2001; parts of the bike is looking less sharp than it used to so I really want to trick it up in the winter months this year. The question I have is where can I buy chrome engine and body parts, sprcifically I want front and rear fenders, rear pulley toothed less than stock which I think is 61teeth, spoked rims and I want a new exhaust twin pipes that exit low level eithe side of the rear wheel but I want then to sound like the indian motorcycles, other parts like hand grips or footpegs are probably east to locate; any feedback or knowledge on custom parts would be more than appreciated, thanks |

If you're looking for twin pipes, I believe that Bubs might be the only system. Here's one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-98-Buell-Bubs-Ex haust-system-Super-Rare-M2-S1-S3_W0QQcmdZViewItemQ Q_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1205Q7 c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksi dZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem2c4f9940c9QQitemZ1903 14004681QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories These are pretty rare sets and don't come up for sale vary often. It has also been proven that they will hurt the top end power due to no scavenging between the pipes. |

Don't you know the rules? No chrome on S1's! A bit of polished billet, maybe. No chrome!!! Spoked wheels? Why? It's not a choppa. |

Juiced, are you talking about high mount twin pipes? Maybe Preybird will post up some more pics of the Ghost Rider bike? You will prolly have to get chrome fenders fabricated, but I think it would look really nice with spoked rims. Initially it's hard to get your head around the idea but I've also seen pics and spokes look great. Might want to email Al at American Sport Bike, he helped source parts for the Ghost Rider bikes so may know some good fabricators. |

The only chrome on my S1 is the inner fork legs....Now, polished aluminum parts are everywhere. LittleB hit it square. Get hold of Al. |

Thanks for the info guys, to answer the Q. I wanted the pipes to sit low under the engine and exit on each side of the rear wheel I have a vance&hines already which I love the sound of, if anyone can direct me to a fender manufacturer it'd be great, thanks again |
