Last two rides out, after an hour or so, the M2 starts making this weird whine at cruising speed (60-70 mph) that sounds almost like a tire whine or a part vibrating. Getting off the freeway changed the tone, but it didn't go away. Tires are in fair shape, and I don't hear it around town/locally, and always toward the end of the ride. It has a strange harmonic kid of hum that does not change with RPM. Any ideas? I was reaching around touching various panels/components trying to mute or change the tone, but nothing doing.... |

I'd be checking my wheel bearings , I had a similar noise , the rear bearings were seized. |

check the primary chain too. set it to the specks in your manual. Even if it feels loose it tightens up as the bike warms up. When I got my Buell there was a learning curve, all the settings on a Buell are totally different than on a harley. |
