So I see many grades out there, what would be a good grade to make a header out of? And how would I make that flare like the OEM? Is there some sort of roller I could purchase? I'm looking at some 321, would that be overboard? It's pricey, but man it would make a nice pipe..... |

Flare or flange? I'm thinking 303 is fine, though the pieces I'm getting to mod my stock header may be 321; I can't remember. |

The head pipe flare to snug it into the head against the gaskets.... i noticed the bubs uses a larger diamter pipe welded around it to perform the clamp, didn't know if the flare would be better, or if I should do it like bubs did...... I'm just daydreaming at this phase, I don't even know how to TIG yet....... just MIG. |

Matt, the force is the same as the bubs. So was my kooks. I think its just easier to use the larger diameter pipe. My kooks is made of 304 stainless. Its a pretty stout pipe too. I sent you an email this morning about that force. |
