Owner of 2 Buells (XB9SX, S3T) looking to see if anyone knows of a local Harley shop (between Boston and Portsmouth) that could handle putting on 2 sets of tires without f'n something up (can you tell I have trust issues?) Anyone know anything about Gypsy Cycles in Rowley? I've been a dealership guy up till now, but running 2 bikes and doubling those costs gets you thinking outside the box. |

It's not hard to do it yourself. Well worth the investment in tools, they'll pay for themselves after the first tire change. After working at a Jap dealership for a few years the only person I would let work on either of my bikes is ME! |

It's a little bit of a hike, but I only have good things to say about Precision HD in Pawtucket. It's on Armistice Blvd. From Boston its about 30-50 minutes depending on traffic and where in Boston. |

There's a guy in Ipswich, MA that has a full NO MAR set up. Charges $15 per wheel off and like $30 per wheel if you ride in. I'll try to dig his name and number up after work. |

Thanks please do... is it a shop or just some guy in his garage? Has he worked on Buells before? Would you trust him to remove the wheels and put them back on and not have have my belt drive shred 20 miles later? (like I said, I have trust issues) |

Sorry, no luck,I found him through Craigslist, but he is not currently listed. He works out of his garage, does a lot of track days and goes through tires like candy. I have the tools if you would like to give it a try yourself? |

I don't think he'll take off the wheels for you though, but I do believe he'll change the tires for you. |
