I think we should start the alcohol post again. Imagine a fuel that lets you bump up compression safely, makes the engine run cooler, burns slower and more evenly for less wear on engine parts. really i just want to know what buell tuber tanks are made from, to see if they are alcohol safe, also anyone know if the stock x1 injectors would be alcohol safe? or anyone know of aftermarket injectors for buells? |

Contact Marren fuel injection in Conneticut. (sorry I dont have the # handy) sent them my stock injectors for testing to see if something was wrong (Boy was it ever) Long story short, they hooked me up with a set of custom Bosch injectors (blue printed, flow tested with the results sheet even the new connectors... soup to nuts) and what a differance over the stock Lucas paperweights... cost for both injectors from them (shipped) was less than 1 stocker from a dealer. Im a big fan of their products and recommend them to people all the time... |
