I just finished installing my force pipe on my M2...it was a friggin bear to install being the older one peice model, but HOLY CRAP does this thing sound AWESOME! Neighbors, children and cute women beware! This thing is louder than any HD I've ever heard. I had it ceramic coated so it looks great too! |

They DO have an amazing sound. I loved mine but traded it off for a working shock after it snapped in half twice and I rewelded it back together. Now I plan on putting a stainless megaphone on a modified stock header to get the same effect but in stainless and two-piece for better reliability. |

I have been looking for a way to make mine a two piece set up. I can't seem to get the shoe on the y-bracket to come down low enough to clamp it with out putting stress on it. There is about a 1/4 gap there. For now I ran header tape around the pipe a bunch to take up the gap but it is ugly. If it were a two piece system it would be perfect. |

If your interested, welding a Drag Specialties 1.75" baffle to the front of the Force baffle will help the bottom end without much loss of sound quality. People tell me that my pipe is loud but it sounds fine inside my full face helmet |

You should probably cut the front bracket off now and use a stainless band clamp to secure the pipe to the front mount. It is going to break off, its only a matter of when |

Mine doesn't have the front bracket. It uses a band clamp already. I just can't get it to line up with the "shoe" that comes off the y bracket. The ones that americansportbike sells p/n-17095 (link)http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/17095.html appear to have a slotted hole and maybe that would be the best way to go if the shoe would drop down far enough to mount to it? Maybe? |

I'm not real sure what the reasoning was but Dan from NHRS seemed to think I had the "good" Force pipe that was less prone to breakage...He called the newer ones with the silicone clamp troublesome put kindly. I made my own isolated mount that mounts to the front Y mount and am building a well isolated rear mount...I feel confident it will last a while. |
