Has anyone done this? I just but an XB dual headlight setup with brackets and flyscreen on my X1. I was planning on making a custom dash to house my X1 gauges but was wondering if maybe i go just use the XB gauges and wire it all up. Anyone done this? any luck getting all the gauges and lights to work? |

I remember seeing some dashes on a UK site a while back that worked with the XB fairings, but have not been able to find the site since, maybe someone one here would know? I've been thinking about doing a double headlight conversion, personally I don't care for the large single headlight. Did you have to fab the brackets or was it a pretty simple swap? |

I'm pretty sure the XB gauges are run off the ECM data, not from standard inputs like the tubers. My Uly has a 16 or 20 pin connector on the backside of the gauges, and I know the VSS runs through the ECM because it's one of the factors used to determine fuel and spark trim....not sure if the tach is a standard crank position signal, or if it's ECM filtered as well.... |
