I was out washing the bike yesterday and the exhaust moved when i wiped it with the rag. I got down and looked at the rear of the exhaust and the rear bracket is broken. Is this a replacement part that I can just buy? My old M2 had a V&H but it didn't mount like this one. The old one just had bolts that went into the tab that is welded on the back of the exhaust. This one has what appears to be a metal strap that slips over the can and that strap bolts to the z-bracket. The strap hanger is broken right where it mounts to the z-bracket. |

If the strap itself is broken, you can have it welded. I did a couple years ago on my S1W's CF V&H can. I pulled mine, took it to our machine shop, and they tacked it back together for me. IIRC it's stainless, but they had no problem with doing it, and it held until I took that can off the bike (when I found a Buell race system for it). |
