Why I LOVE the X1 after taking the cover off of it last weekend and washing the corrosion protector off. Then getting it all shined up. It started up on the first try. I rode it to work all week last week and I'm gonna ride it this week. Nothing like feeling the old Thunderstorm V-twin thump underneath you

Very unusual, a standard looking X1! Almost. (Message edited by fullauto on April 26, 2009) |

Man you guys are lucky i bought a used and un-appreciated x1 that has been the biggest piece of shi*$ I have ever seen. It took me a year to get it all fixed and then it drops an exhaust valve in front cylinder and i fixed that. Not even 6 months and the rear dropped an exhaust valve it totally ruined the top end of both cylinder and destroyed the jugs, the intake, and one injector. So now instead of just being a $4k bike it quickly turned into a $10k bike and it still needs new rear shock and front fork re-build |

Wow! I bought mine from the original owner who is a Buell/H-D tech and it was no where near that sharp. Don't change a thing she looks awesome! |
